We begin with a one-on-one session to understand your child’s development, behaviours, and any concerns you may have.
A structured, play-based session with your child (and you), guided by our trained Occupational Therapist.
Our OT carefully analyses the results, focusing on how your child experiences day-to-day life—socially, emotionally, and functionally.
You’ll get a clear report with tailored recommendations, shared with your GP or pediatrician to help fast-track a diagnosis.
Wait times to see a pediatrician after a GP referral can be 6 to 18 months. That’s a long time to wait—especially when you’re looking for answers.
The good news? You don’t have to wait to begin the process.
An OT can conduct the ADOS assessment during this time, so by the time your pediatrician appointment arrives, the detailed report is ready to go.

Medicare Rebates
If you have a referral under the Helping Children with Autism or Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on parts of the assessment.

Many health funds offer rebates for Occupational Therapy services. It’s best to check your policy’s extras cover.
NDIS
If your child has NDIS funding (self- or plan-managed), this assessment may be covered under Capacity Building supports. We’ll provide all the paperwork needed.
